MISSION STATEMENT

 

The Brain Buddy Foundation exists to bring hope, healing, and understanding to children impacted by trauma, foster care, adoption, and adverse childhood experiences through brain-based education, therapeutic resources, and compassionate support.

We believe every child deserves to understand what is happening inside their brain, know that their behaviors are not their identity, and discover practical tools that build resilience, connection, and hope. Through children’s books, activity booklets, educational programs, caregiver training, and community partnerships, we equip children, families, educators, and professionals with trauma-informed resources that promote healing and lifelong well-being.

 

Our mission is to transform the conversation from “What’s wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?”—empowering children to write a new story of courage, belonging, and possibility, one Brain Buddy at a time.
